: Rights based approach and role of community DPOs. By Jayanth Kumar – India He discussed about Right Based Approach (RBA) – conceptional frame work, and said that every individual have right. The presenter was sharing his experience regarding DPOs and DPIs about 51% are different from each other. In practice they are working in cross disability, single disability or belong to disability organization. For inter-relation: he shared about self advocacy, equal participation, inclusive approach and empowerment. He was of view that more efforts by NGOs on application of RBA will be helpful. Capacity building is very essentional like leadership, interpersonal skill

Rights based approach on Mental illness. By D.M. Naidu – India Social inclusion of mentally ill persons A Communities and families play vital role in exercising right. The presenter talked about some issue like. Right to gender equality, women have double disadvantage. Right to inclusion with dignity without stigma. Right to free environment and body integrity. Right to free movement Right to recreation / social & cultural / religious. Right to employment. Legal capabilities need legal assistance. Right to political participation. He suggested for building up a health communities and enabling environment.

Open sharing & Discussions There are few many Participants was discus ; most of them was willing to know more on mental illnesses. And presenter was try to reply on that and also few issue also raised on sustainability of CBR and also how it can more effectively handled with DPOs
