University Policy Policies most often originate via UNC General Administration, state or federal legislation, or other administrative action Review schedule maintained by Legal Affairs and carried out by the appropriate “owner” Academic Policy Policies most often originate via UNC Charlotte faculty and administration Review schedule maintained by Academic Affairs and carried out by the Faculty Academic Planning and Standards Committee (FAPSC)

 Student Complaint Resolution Log  All units that receive and resolve complaints from currently enrolled students related to the mission must log the complaint and its resolution  Submission of Final Grades  Faculty Council Resolution: “Support the Provost in directing Department Chairs to include chronic failure to turn in course grades or chronic lateness in grade reporting in faculty annual evaluations.”  Class Scheduling Guidelines and Classroom Utilization  Minimum of 40% of M-Th classes must be scheduled during non- prime time  A minimum of 20% of classes in each college must be scheduled on Friday
