Bats By Matt Samuels 08/10/vampire-bat-1.jpg mage&iid=iFVRRrn6mYIA

Why bats are good 70% of bat population consume bugs as a food source. Micro bats capable of eating 300 bugs every hour. These include mosquitoes, moths, locus, and grasshoppers. This is good because these bugs kill crops/spread diseases.

Helping the rain forest Macro bats eat fruit. When the seeds pass through them they replant the forest. This is good because of the loss of our rain forests.

Helping people Bats produce very good fertilizer vampire bat contain blood thinning chemical This can benefit stroke victims or any other person that needs it Also we are researching their use of echolocation Kizer/vampire2a.jpg

Preserve ecosystem Because bats eat so many insects it helps maintain that population so it doesn’t grow to quickly. If insect population increases it could kill a lot of crops. Help maintain rainforest by pollinating plants.
