REFORMED MATURITA EXAMINATION Introduced in 2004 Implemented in 2011 Common part – school-leavers at grammar schools Vocational parts – all other types of vocational schools

COMMON PART 2 compulsory exams Czech language English language or Mathematics No more than 2 optional /non-compulsory exams/ Languages – similar structure didactic test written exam /essay/ oral exam

ENGLISH LANGUAGE Didactic test – 35 minutes /50%/ listening comprehension reading comprehension use of English Written exam – 60 minutes /25%/ Oral exam – 15 minutes /25%/ Test are based on so-called catalogues of requirements
