Packaging waste management system operator TEHNO EKO PAK

About us  TEHNO EKO PAK is new packaging waste management operator in Serbia.  Hamburger Recycling Group GMBH Austria is one of our founders through its daughter company in Serbia (Tehnopapir d.o.o.).  HRG has been established in 1853 and bears the name of its founder, Wilhelm Hamburger.  Today, HRG is a well known recycling company and one of leading European paper producers.  HRG is member of “Prinzhorn Holding” and operates with 4 factories for paper production (2 in German, 1 in Austria and 1 in Hungary) and 12 companies for collecting and processing of waste paper and cardboard.

Law on packaging and packaging waste  This law determines packaging waste management obligation for manufacturers, importers, packers/fillers and distributors.  All of them are obliged to be ‘’in line’’ with this law and have 3 options available:  Packaging waste self-management.  To pay ‘’penalty’’ fee for placement of packaging on the market to Environmental Protection Fund.  To transfer obligation to TEHNO EKO PAK who is authorized packaging waste management operator.

Packaging waste self-management Not realistic option. In this case company is obliged to:  Provide license for packaging waste management issued by Ministry of environment and spatial planning.  Regularly receive and collect packaging waste from end-users (article 18. and article 23.) and to organize complicated and expensive system of return of its own packaging waste.  Provide adequate space for reception, collection, classification and temporary storage of packaging waste that has been collected (article 19.)  Provide reuse, recycling or disposal in accordance with the law (article 18. and article 23.).

Environmental Protection Fund  Much more expensive option.  This means that national goals stipulated by this law are not achieved and company pays much higher fee for placement of packaging on the market.  Company is also exposed to risk of paying penalties stipulated by this law.

TEHNO EKO PAK  Best option.  We are packaging waste management operator and our clients may transfer their packaging waste management obligations on us (article 24.).  Packaging waste management includes planning and organization of activities related to collection, transportation, storage, treatment and disposal of packaging waste.  We have established cooperation with municipalities, local public utilities and other companies that are licensed for collection, recycling or disposal of packaging waste.  We possess equipment, facilities and machinery for collection, temporary storage and classification of packaging waste.

Our business  We provide packaging waste management as a whole, at all levels of placement of the packaging and packaged goods on the market and in the area where the packaging waste is being created.  We organize activities related to collecting, transport, warehousing, treatment, recycling or disposal of packaging waste on behalf of our clients.  We takeover your obligation and therefore you are not exposed to risk of paying monetary fines (article 51.) in amount of RSD to RSD  We inform the public and end-users about the purposes, goals, manners and collection sites, as well as the possibilities of reuse and recycling of packaging waste.  We provide consulting related to reporting to the Environmental Protection Agency (article 39.).

Our strengths  Best price comparing all other operators.  Much cheaper option than payment to Environmental Protection Fund.  Experience and support of Hamburger Recycling Group.  Wide network of subcontractors who provide collection, recycling or disposal of packaging waste.
