College Argument Essay

Getting Started  Decide your action plan is for post-secondary education

Background  Print ALL of the assignments with their Works Cited College Application Essay College Research Charts Annotated Bibliography Housing Options research Financial Plan

Prompt Write an argument in which you support your post-secondary educational choice. Include a claim, support that claim with reasons and evidence; acknowledge the counterargument; and provide a rebuttal that is supported by evidence.

Overview of the Argument Essay Paragraph 1 – Introduction Paragraph 2 - Argument to support claim Paragraph 3 - Argument to support claim Paragraph 4 - Counterargument/Rebuttal Paragraph 5 - Conclusion

Requirements for Evidence in the Essay  3 sources/evidence from at least 3 different assignments  1 visual representation of evidence (copy/paste a chart/graph into your document)
