Research When taking notes from sources you must 1. Summarize 2. Paraphrase 3. Quote *DO NOT PLAGIARIZE * When taking notes you may not write word for word what it says in your source unless you are using it as a quotation.
When Quoting… Put quotations around the text you are using. Put the author’s name and page number after the quote. “All of second block got A’s on their test and received a pizza party”(Weiss, 23).
