Emergency Services Current Issues ESF-10 Monroe County State Parks Closed 9/18 Environmental response personnel identified and pre-staged in Miami-Dade area US Coast Guard representative from the 7th District en-route to Tallahassee Established contact with US EPA representatives regarding support ESF Law enforcement deployed as of AM (66 State Law Enforcement (SLE) & 180 County/Municipal), 60 Law enforcement deployed from other states to impacted area Law Enforcement support through MAC to all 6 counties in Mississippi. Human Services Current Issues ESF-6 Coordinating with Red Cross and Salvation Army. Responding to evacuation of Monroe County. Nine (9) general population shelters open. Four (4) in Broward County. Two (2) in Collier County. Three (3) in Miami-Dade County. One (1) special needs shelter open in Miami-Dade County. Nine (9) shelters, in six (6) counties, are on standby. ESF 11 ESF-11 LSA Team is demobilizing from Stennis. Working with Division of Forestry to set up pre-mobilization area at the South Florida Fairgrounds, West Palm Beach. Approximately 120 truckloads of ice on hand in Florida; pre- staging 50 truckloads to West Palm Beach mobilization area in preparation for response to Rita. 229 truckloads of water on hand in Florida; pre-staging 50 truckloads to West Palm Beach mobilization area. Additional ESF-11 staff have been scheduled for duty at SEOC.
