59 ESF 8 – Health & Medical Current Operations FIU Special Needs Shelter is actively discharging patients back to Monroe County Agency for Health Care Administration has cleared Monroe County hospitals to reopen Hospice patients remain in palliative care beds in Miami and are returning home as appropriate No water supply system problems identified Regional Emergency Response Advisors (RERA's) have completed assignments in Monroe County and are actively demobilizing One Disaster Medical Assistance Team at Fishermans Hospital in Marathon and a National Disaster Medical System strike team is at Lower Keys Hospital (Key West) Two Medivac Helicopters at Marathon Airport to support patient transfers to Miami as needed

62 ESF 10 – Hazardous Materials Current Issues 2 HazMat response teams released from deployment to South Florida am 9/21. All Dade County State Parks are open for normal hours. All Monroe County State Parks remain closed except for Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo/anticipate reopening other parks for normal hours by the weekend. All Florida ports returned to normal operations, except Key West that remains closed to vessel traffic, assessments ongoing. All local water utility personnel from Florida who were operating in Mississippi have been demobilized/no further missions in Mississippi. Up Next – ESF 11

63 ESF 10 – Hazardous Materials Current Issues US Coast Guard liaison (LTJG Swinson) to Rita Command has demobilized. All Water Facilities (drinking and wastewater) in Miami- Dade and Monroe Counties reported operational Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority reports no operational problems. Report received of 30 recreational boats in mangroves near Key West and an overturned commercial fishing vessel on Dry Tortugas. Unmet Needs None at this time Future Operations Continue waterway assessment of the Port of Key West and anticipate reopening port tomorrow. Conduct shoreline assessments in Monroe County on Thursday for storm impacts. Up Next – ESF 11

67 ESF 12 – Energy Current Issues FUEL South Florida Bulk- 51.6 million gallons available now, 71.6 mg available in 3 days and 95.2 mg available in 9 days. Retail -US-1 Corridor: 40% of the facilities surveyed within Monroe County reported having plenty of fuel, while 40% were low and 20% were completely out. I-95 Corridor and FL Turnpike: 96% of the facilities surveyed within Broward and Miami-Dade Counties reported having plenty of fuel, while 4% were low. I-75 Corridor: 100% of the facilities surveyed in CollierCounty, along the I-75 corridor, reported having plenty of fuel.

68 ESF 12 – Energy Current Issues (cont) FUEL Panhandle Bulk -6.9 million gallons available now, 4.0 mg available in 3 days and 8.3 mg available in 9 days Retail - I-10 Corridor: 78% of the facilities surveyed within Escambia County reported having plenty of fuel, while 22% were low. 70% of the facilities surveyed within Santa Rosa, Jackson and Okaloosa Counties reported having plenty of fuel, while 30% were low. All 6 tender tankers have been been released and ready for deployment by others in the potential Rita impact areas.

69 ESF 12 – Energy Current Issues (cont) Mississippi - EMAC Tanker contracts expire 9/29, ESF-1&3 on-site management. Retail stations are coming on- line. For Small Quantity Vendors for MS see Tracker Katrina 2799. Propane deliveries from Gulfport restored - See Tracker Katrina 2698 ELECTRICITY Mississippi - All customers that can safely receive power are receiving power. 26,226 customers cannot safely receive power. Rita - Hurricane Rita has left approximately 2,900 customers in the city of Key West without power. This represents 5% of the customers in Monroe County. Service to all other customers in Broward, Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach counties has been restored.
