Lessons Learned from CKF State leadership and political will are critical –Greatest success when Medicaid and SCHIP officials with authority to make changes were involved Simplification and coordination work –Evidence from case studies in Virginia and Arkansas Infrastructure is needed –Infrastructure and systems facilitate enrollment and retention, or can create hurdles when inadequate to meet demand.
