Objectives of the Music Education Curriculum l All students will know the basic elements of music. l All students will have an understanding of how music works in their lives. l All students will apply life-long skills obtained in music to their lives.
Requirements l Students, parents and teachers will work together to insure that each student accomplishes the objectives. l Parents will encourage their child’s music education by viewing Music as an academic subject that relates to all learning. l Parents and teacher will discuss the importance and value of music in their children’s lives.
