In the 1940s people first started using social networking. With the very first being sent. Over time many different social networking sites have developed such as dating sites, and general messaging. Social media has caused many problems but also fixed a lot and inspired many. It is a fun and easy way of being up to date on whats new in peoples daily lives and many people are addicted to social networking Development in social networking

it starts new fashion trends- especially websites such as tumblr, instagram and pinterest can set new fashion trends and it is a fun and easy way to show off these new looks and styles. it helps businesses get advertised- things like leaflets and letters may help with advertising but they are a lot of effort and can be easily thrown away so why not advertise it on social media where most people are. it inspires new ideas- on places like tumblr and instagram there is a lot of inspiration quotes and pictures, which inspire and can save lives, especially for teenagers. it can be used as a job and you can earn real money from it. Youtubers get a lot of credit on youtube ( zoe sugg, bethany mota, nash grier, etc.) Benefits of social networking
