Association Opportunities Bring grants to HSRHA for building community capacity Get more “done” on mission: advocacy, communications, research and education Reinvigorate relationship with SORH Show “value” to partners/stakeholders Bring research/policy statements to stakeholders/partners Expand the number and type of partners/stakeholders Develop policy papers, using existing resources (i.e., NRHA) adding local/state implications HHIC Website…”Knowledge Nuggets” for HSRHA website Data specifics--- list

Suggested Elements of our Vision ID statewide needs using data plus prioritizing in RH issues through data and listening to the local RHA’s and support solutions to those issues. Listen to local RHA’s Provide resources to lead Connection to National Recognize as “go to” for HI rural data and resources Conduit for information, thinking, planning Identify rural health priorities and support local communities, connect to national. Be “Ghost busters” for rural health resources.

The implementation of this plan by the state association and all of our partners in the rural communities of our islands will, hopefully result in better care and health for the families and multi-cultures of Hawaii
