Chantal Heath Concept Map Technology Integration

What resources and capabilities do you personally possess that will facilitate your integrating technology into your future position?  Great listening skills  Able to learn easily and quickly  Willing to learn new things; like the new use of technology

What resources and capabilities do you personally lack that will hinder your integrating technology into your future position? AND How can you work around this?  Not that technology advanced; I’m not that advanced when it comes to technology, but I’m always willing to learn. I can take classes over the new technology, or ask someone who may know a lot about the particular tool.  Have a hard time comprehending certain technology tools; I need certain tools broken down to understand, but once I learn something I never forget it.  Law and regulations to internet use; I will work on enforcing these laws in my class, after I learn them fully.

In the external environment (the school setting), what are some things that can help you integrate technology into your future position?  Staying updated of learning the new and advanced technology  Remembering the information that I have learned from this MEDT class  Learning what technology my students find stimulating and exciting, and try to incorporate it into my lesson

In the external environment (the school setting), what are some things that will hinder your attempts or desire to integrate technology into your future position? AND How can you work around this?  The students not finding the technology useful, or motivating; ask students what they like  Not having the financial funds; try to get government grants, or asking for contributions from parents, businesses, etc.  Technology issues; I could find help from the school’s technology professional.
