REQUIREMENTS FOR COLD STORES For Bilateral countries all fruit must be pre-cooled for a minimum of 72 hours continuous but for the USA the fruit must be on target temperature for the last 24 hours. USA, JAPAN, S/KOREA, CHINA and ISRAEL For Permit countries all fruit must be pre-cooled to target temperature. INDIA, INDONESIA, IRAN, TAIWAN, SRI LANKA, BANGLADESH, REUNION, ZAMBIA and MADAGASCAR A tabular temperature printout of at least the last 24 hours must be provided to the PPECB assessor for approval.
