Farming in Ancient Egypt

What did Ancient Egyptians grow What did Ancient Egyptians grow? They grew everything they needed to eat, including wheat, barley, vegetables, figs, melons, pomegranates

How did they get water to their plants? These pictures show farmers using a shaduf (“shadoof”) to get water from a canal into a bucket.
