Facts The climate prediction center or (the CPC) can predict weather months before the accident. Storms can bring very bad weather Strong thunderstorms can have high winds and dangerous lightning They may also have hail. Winds in a tornado can reach up to 480 kilometers (300 miles) per hour. If you are outside and there is a tornado there is a chance you will get sucked in.

Facts Severe weather is condition of the air on earth. As air rises the temperature tiny suspended droplets turning into clouds. Weather maps can tell us were air masses can be found. A cold front is where cold air moves into warm air.

What severe weather can cause It can make houses collapse.      Its can make thunder and hurricanes and tornados. Opinion: Some people are afraid of lighting (like me). It can cause TVs and radios to malfunction. It can cause people to get hurt.     It can make trees fall.
