Standard Values have been established for:  Alternate Name Type (example: AKA = Also Known As)  Attorney Type (example: A = Appointed)  Case Security (example: P = Public)  Case Status (example: O = Open)  Disposition Code (example: DIS = Dismissed)  Gender (example: F = Female)  Party Type (example: D = Defendant)  Offense Code Type (example: L = Local Offense)  Offense Original or Amended Indicator (example: O = Original)  Offense Modifier (example: A = Attempted)  Race (example: A = Asian) Standardization and cleansing of Addresses  Postal Soft is used to standardized addresses. Unique Addresses are stored and address history is maintained. Standardization

●DLN Matching with MDOS  Compares the court’s DLN with the DLN from MDOS. This results in more accurate matches when assigning the UPI number. The MDOS DLN, Address, Gender, and DOB is displayed in BI-Query and the Name Search Application. ●Death Record Matching with MDCH  Compares Name and DOB with individuals with court records to the MDCH Death Record Database, allowing court personnel to cease collection efforts or cancel outstanding warrants on deceased individuals. Collaboration and Data Sharing

●Updating Criminal History Records (CHR) for State Police  Finds missing dispositions for open arrest records from the CHR database. The list of matching dispositions is provided to the Court for verification. After verification is complete, the records are electronically updated with the records from the JDW. ●Traffic Citation Tracking for Office of Highway Safety and Planning (OSHP)  Part of OHSP’s strategic plan to link vehicle crash data to a citation’s disposition and sentence information.  Match data from the CRASH system to JDW to develop aggregate and trend reports dealing with individuals involved in a crash. For example, how many individuals involved in a crash are repeat offenders, or how many of these individuals had MIPs.  The addition of court data will assist OHSP in the analysis of individuals involved in crashes and ultimately be able to allocate their federal funds to programs that will assist in preventing these occurrences. Collaboration and Data Sharing

●Providing case detail access to other courts and state agencies  Courts are able to query on an individual and view entire judicial history statewide.  Probation Officers from both MDOC and the District Courts can monitor individuals using the JDW to see if they have violated their probation by committing offenses in other counties, or have changed their address.  Friend of the Court staff use the JDW to locate missing parents. ●Ad-hoc requests:  Determining repeat offenders in DUI Courts  Cyber terrorism crimes Collaboration and Data Sharing (continued)
