A computer virus is something that can damage your computer. It has the ability to spread to other computers. Viruses make many problems; here are some problems caused by computer viruses: The computer can make you stare into blank screensThe computer can make you stare into blank screens Your computer could be very slowYour computer could be very slow The virus could start erasing important documentsThe virus could start erasing important documents It Format the whole hard diskIt Format the whole hard disk All these problems are caused by the following viruses: Different Malware types (a general name for all programs that are harmful viruses, Trojan, worms and all other similar programs), Trojan (This is caused by going into unwanted websites), Worms (A worm is a program which spreads usually over network connections). Macro virus (Macro viruses spread from applications which use macros). You could prevent all these viruses by downloading anti-virus software; this detects and blocks the viruses. You could make back ups. You could also turn off your internet if you are not using it. always run a scan if you are downloading an application. How ever there is a problem with anti virus software. You will get a programme called personal anti-virus on your PC. This programme will not show a “add/install” list to uninstall. This programme will be popping up on your screen quite often. This problem is often caused by going on unwanted websites.

Hacking is when you have unauthorised connection to other PC’s or other networks. Hacking will cause many problems; Here are a few examples:  Damage system 32  serious data damage depending on what is on your system.  create a logger that would plant itself inside as a security update and stay till they wanted to activate it. Once activated it would connect to all electrical devices in your home that run off your fuse box. TV.s would go on and off - lights would blow. There are many ways stopping hackers getting on your network, but the easiest way is to turn off your wireless network if you are not using the internet.

Back up is very important because a back up is basically another copy of all the documents from you PC. It is very important to back your work up because it is very annoying when you lose your work permanently, for example losing your : projects, business files, family photos and etc. Back up your documents on to a Hard ware disk, USB (universal serial bus) or your memory sticks. The best place to keep these back up are in your pocket; in your bag or somewhere some one cannot get to and this is because you would not lose anything. This might happen to your computer; quick get your work backed up!!!

Stuxnet is a type of windows computer worm. This was discovered in July This worm targets industrial software and equipment. This is not the first time that hackers’ have targeted the industrial system. Stuxnet is the first discovered malware. This malware spies on the industrial system, and also this malware is the first to discover programmable logic controller. The worm spreads, but this worm includes a highly specialised malware payload that is designed to target Siemens supervisory control and data acquisition that control specific industrial process. They infect the PLC’s. Stuxnet is originated from no where. But there re some possibilities from them being originated from Israel and united states. Stuxnet was invented by Israeli people.
