8 th Grade Science 2012 In science this year I think I have learned a lot of new and interesting things. Some of the units we have studied are Density Changes in state of Matter Layers of the Earth Minerals Rock Cycle And many units in-between.

Best & Worst I have loved science and Mr. Mixon throughout this whole year one of my favorite parts about science is the experiments because they can sometimes be fun and they keep you form just sitting, reading a textbook. The thing that I disliked this year in science was the labs. I didn’t like the labs because I didn’t take my time on them and that caused me to struggle.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) rate yourself on your ability to complete all the assignments for class. Why? Rating: 4 I think I deserve this rating because I always try to complete my assignments but sometimes I get distracted.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) rate yourself on your class time effort & positive contributions to class discussion(s). Why? Rating: 5 I think (in class) I work very efficiently. I think this because I don’t like having home work so I work hard in class.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) rate yourself on your ability to work with others in class. Why? Rating: 3 I gave myself a three because I can work well with others but it is really easy to get distracted and at times when we both have good ideas it is hard to combine ideas and it is time consuming to make that decision.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) describe items you want to improve upon for next quarter/year. Why? Rating: 3 For next quarter I really need to get into better study habits because high school is just around the corner.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) describe what when well in this school year. Why? Rating: 5 Over the course of this school year what went really well for me was that I learned a ton of things. Some were out of a textbook and some things were lessons that you can’t find in a textbook
