Book Clubs – Do you facilitate a student book club in your building? – What sort of advice or tips can you offer to another librarian interested in starting a student book group? – What sort of things (times, titles, snacks ) were unsuccessful? Maker Spaces – Have you heard of them? Do you know what they are? – Have you considered having one or do you currently have one in your library? Author Visits – Do you currently have regular/yearly author visits? – What tips/advice would you offer for finding an author and facilitating a successful author visit? – If you are a in a high school library, have you ever had an author visit and how did you select the author? – Would you consider splitting the cost of an author visit? Do you think it would be helpful to share this sort of information with everyone in the group so that we can combine resources? Electronic Devices – What is the policy on electronic devices in your library? Do you allow cell phones, headphones, ipods for recreational or personal use?
