Reason For Going to Iceland I have wanted to Visited Iceland every since I did a presentation on it in the fifth grade. We were each given a country and about a month to research various things: culture, food, industry etc. project was really fun and I was looking forward to displaying it at the Art and Science Fair, but I caught the flue the day of the fair and had to stay home. This is another chance to show what I learned about Iceland one of my favorite countries. There were several places I want to see and a few Foods I would like to try in Iceland. One place I would like to see is the blue lagoon. The blue lagoon gets its name from the sky blue wAter in the hot spring. The blue color comes from silica mud at the bottom. This is a big tourist attraction in Iceland with thousands of people Visiteding it every year. I would also like to Visited some of the beaches in Iceland. Some of the beaches in Iceland have streams from hot springs flowing across them to the ocean making the wAter around the mouth of the stream quite warm. These are just two of the many things I would like to do if I ever actually went to Iceland

Arrival The Flight from Gerald R. Ford International to Reykjavik International in Reykjavik Iceland departed at noon and arrived in Reykjavik at 8:55am the next day. Upon my arrival I picked up my rental car, a Suzuki Grand Vitaru, from Auto Europe. After this I checked into The City Center Hotel, which is in downtown Reykjavik. And spent the rest of the day recouping from a 17hour Flight.

Departure 8:30am Ate Breakfast at Flallkonbakariid After Break Fast I checked to make sure that I had everything packed. At 9:15 I checked out of the City Center Hotel and drove down to Reykjavik International airport. I had to pass through customs so I arrived two hours before my flight departed At 11:50am my flight departed for a Toronto, Canada. There I changed flights and was headed for Gerald R. Ford International.
