1. Background DPs will work together to achieve results through dialogue and coordination under Government-led DPCM and New Deal principles “Achieving the goals (of stability, security and socio- economic development) will require the development of transparent, accountable and competent institutions across our civil service, our security sector and our justice system.” (Timor-Leste Strategic Development Plan ) Governance and Institutional Development is a means to inclusive, equitable and sustainable development and Peacebuilding and Statebuilding Goals

The Way Forward  Jointly develop costed operational sector plans and capacity building strategy  Sequence priorities and pace activities for quality results, sustained capacity, gender and vulnerable group considerations and conflict sensitivities  Identify inter-sectoral issues and coordinate  Regular sub-sector and sector meetings for planning, coordination and monitoring
