Scalable Semantic Product Data Stream Management for Collaboration and Decision Making in Engineering Project WP17: Demonstration and evaluation activities 1 Third Review meeting Luxembourg, November, 2013 Mathias Johanson Alkit Communications

WP 17 objectives 2 Set up a demonstration environment, incorporating all software tools developed in the project Develop evaluation criteria for assessing industrial relevance of the technology developed

WP17 Status 3 WP17 started July 2011 Will last until end of project Participants: All (AC leader)

Activities and results 4 Activities – Identification of research and developer communities – Identification of customer communities – Demonstration and evaluation plan developed – Development of evaluation criteria for assessing industrial relevance Deliverables – D17.1 Preliminary Demonstration and Evaluation Plan (M12) – D17.2 Report on Demonstration and Evaluation of the individual ISPs (M46). Restricted draft version submitted M36.

Demonstration and evaluation plan 5 Develop core components Integrate components into Smart Vortex Suite Demonstrate and evaluate components (research communities) Conduct case studies (industrial / customer communities) Define system architecture Develop demonstrators, conduct demonstrations Evaluate Case Studies and demonstrations, Exploitaton M12M24 M36M48 WP2 WP4, WP5, WP6, WP7, WP8, WP9, WP10 WP13, WP14, WP15 WP20 WP17 Identify usage scenarios and business processes time Current focus

Demonstration software package A laptop computer with virtual machines incorporating (more or less) all software componens developed has been prepared, to be used for stand-alone demonstrations 6

Evaluation criteria Evaluation criteria are based on requirements analysis and business models The evaluation criteria are releated to the KPIs identified for each ISP The fulfillment of the EC will mainly be demonstrated though proof-of-concept implementations 7

Fine Thank you very much for your attention.
