We will learn about temperature, dew point, precipitation, and severe weather conditions. Websites, as well as books from our classroom and the library will help us with our discussion. These materials are © 2007 Marcy Scheffler, Charlton Street School, all rights reserved.

We will explore what today’s weather is like in different cities in the United States. We will focus and record the temperature, dew point, and precipitation in those cities. We will use a map to find the cities and record the information on the map. These materials are © 2007 Marcy Scheffler, Charlton Street School, all rights reserved.

Now that you have explored the weather in different parts of the country, what was your favorite weather? Do you like it where it is warm all the time? Do you like it to be very hot? Do you like it cold? Do you like the rain or the snow? You may draw a picture to show your favorite weather. You may write a few sentences to explain your favorite weather.
