Alarms are used for lots of different reasons. Can you think of ways that alarms are used? Warn of fires Warn of Burglars Help us to know when someone enters a shop. Warns when someone's breathing has stopped

Burglar alarms can have lots of different features. Can you think of things that are used in a security system? A house security system might have some or all of these features: a floodlight house lights that come on after dark and go off in the morning, a door alarm based on a pressure pad burglar alarm with a loud buzzer and flashing lights
