Mission: Connecting People to Christ and one another. Offering you a place to start, grow, serve, and live !

Hospitality Team Mission: As a unified team, create a first 7-minute experience that is irresistible, incredibly welcoming, and contagiously friendly!

 Be ready for guests.  “Will someone want to meet me today based on my attitude & appearance?”  Guests are afraid.  They are afraid of the “unknown”, so let’s make it easy for them to approach us.  Give them something to talk about!  Create irresistible environments through your energy!  Relate to the introverts too.  Be cautious of people’s body language and need for personal space.  Introductions are important.  It makes them feel accepted & embraced.  What about the kids?  Be courteous and thoughtful to the little ones, not just the adults.

 Remove barriers.  Are you hiding behind a desk, busy in conversation, consumed with your to do list?  Arrive on time.  To pray, catch up with friends, and prepare for guests.  Become an Excellence Champion.  Excellence Champions think of people, own the opportunity, and at times even the problem.  Serve shoulder to shoulder.  If we are side by side with our peers while serving, we keep guests the priority.  Consider your own “WoW” moments. WOW moments: customer service that has blown you away.  If you consider your own “Wow” moments you will produce them here for Christ.  Keep stretching!  After each serving opportunity, ask yourself how could I have stretched myself further?  Your role is not a job, it’s an opportunity.  Your role is a mission. Consider yourself a “Host” always on and willing to serve, be kind, and welcoming.

To connect people to Christ and one another at Cypress by being a team that works together to set a positive temperature.  Create the warmest, most welcoming environment that embraces all guests that step onto our church campus!  Believing that together we can impact the world!  Being leaders and owners of our church because we all hold a stake in God’s Kingdom!  Always keeping the main thing the main thing, “reaching the Lost”!  Remember, we are all greeters welcoming people into God’s church body.  Ministry Leaders to do with team members:  Reflect weekly on what was accomplished and what can be adjusted to continue to take the ministry to the next level.  Share wins with one another in order to learn from one another.  Weekly reflection on the number of souls that were impacted vs. prior year.  Celebrate guests from the weekend.
