Introduction If you like ladybugs you should read about them. They are interesting.

What is a Ladybug? A ladybug is an insect. It is a beetle.

Where do Ladybugs live? Ladybugs live in gardens. They crawl on leaves.

What do ladybugs look like? A ladybug has six legs. They are red with black spots. They have two wings.

What are behaviors of ladybugs? Ladybugs shed their skin twice. They lay their eggs in the Spring on a leaf.

What do ladybugs eat and how do they hunt? They eat aphids. Aphids are on leaves.

What predators do ladybugs have and how do they protect themselves? Birds try to eat ladybugs. Ladybug’s red color tells other animals that they will taste bad.

What are some interesting facts about ladybugs? There are about 5,000 different species of ladybugs in the world.
