Mini-Toolbar Appears automatically based on the tasks you perform; is transparent until you point to it

Scroll box Reflects the location of the document; appears in the scroll bar

Tab A collection of groups

Ribbon The control center; located near the top of the window

Contextual Tab Displays when you perform certain tasks or work with certain objects, then disappears

Gallery Set of choices, often graphical, arranged in a grid or list

Zoom controls Controls the view size of the document

Office Button menu Central location for managing and sharing documents

Quick Access toolbar Provides easy access to frequently used commands

Dialog box launcher Displays a dialog box or task pane with additional options

View buttons Controls the view of the document

Status bar Presents information about the document, its progress and status

Enhanced screen tip Defines the name of the button, its shortcut, and a brief description

Wordwrap Allows you to type continually without pressing ENTER at the end of the line

Spell Check as you type Displays a red wavy underline
