Grade 5 Project Ben Zvi School Ramla 2010 Instructor: Elharar Limor Teachers: Lvov Emma Zuyans Victoria Endangered Animals

Goal: Students will understand that there is a variety of endangered species around the world, like dolphins, white leopards, whales, pandas and koalas. Students will be able to create a Power Point presentation about an animal in danger according to their liking.

Objectives 1.Student will get the link to the web site where he /she will get the definition of what an endangered animal is and write it in his own words. 2. Student will get information about the reasons for endangering animals, choose what the reasons for endangering his/her animal are and include this information in his/her Power Point presentation. 3.Student will get the link containing a list of animals in danger, choose one endangered animal and will create a Fact File of the chosen endangered animal: Name, Family name, Habitat, Population, Lifespan, Food, Description. 4.Student will create a Power Point Presentation which will present a chosen animal in the following form: Cover page, Table of Contents, Introduction, Animal's Fact File, Map of habitat of the chosen animal, Animal description, Bibliography, Pictures of the chosen animal, Reflection.
