LLCS Serving the World Questions to be asked are :- What do we do now? How good are we at it? What are the opportunities? Undertake proper market appraisals analysing the trends Where do we want to be? Until the opportunities are understood one can do nothing What are our resources? Strategic Options Marketers must lead Boards to look at what options are available :- Changes on scope of product, market sector, geography Change of direction – higher/lower prices Change of quality Return on Investment Potential growth in Corporate image the Board must know what is available and the rationale of these possibilities Again this should be a dynamic on-going review. Strategic Risk Risk management is not a separate part of any project. Risks arise in the formulation, supply, production, sale and ultimate disposal of any project It is embedded in every project. Strategic Implementation The strategic planners must become totally involved in the sourcing, the delivery and disposal of the product or service They must :- Keep implementation and on-going delivery under constant review to protect the company Ensure that all waste and its disposal is properly controlled at all times Ensure that all claims and corporate statements are true and accurate.
