UNDP Report on HIV/AIDS HIV prevalence has leveled off in the developing world, but deaths form AIDS continue to rise in sub-Saharan Africa Though access to AIDS treatment has expanded, the need continues to grow In hardest hit areas, more that half of those living with HIV are women Prevention measures are failing to keep pace with the spread of HIV Care of orphans is an enormous social problem, which will only get worse as more patients die of AIDS.
