Grade Prep students have been exploring ‘What’s up’ during the term to express and communicate experiences, observations, ideas and feelings about themselves and their world.

How do clouds make you feel? What colour are clouds? What are clouds made of (composition)? What shapes do clouds form? What do clouds feel like (texture)? Do clouds have lines on them? Do clouds have different tones? What sounds do clouds make? Do clouds have movement? Do clouds take up space? What does the surface of a cloud feel and look like?

Students learn about primary and secondary colours. Students discuss complementary colours. Students understand there is an order for the colours in a rainbow.

Students construct a 3D shape. Students learn about body percussion. Students are introduced to soundscapes.
