April 10, WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR US  INDUSTRY ACCESS ASSISTANCE  CRITICAL TO RECOVERY  STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS SOMETIMES HAVE TO MANY NUMBER 1’S  FEMA LED COMMUNICATIONS TEAM WILL INCLUDE LICENSED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS (FCC CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION AND U.S. MARSHALS) TO ASSIST IN ACCESS WHEN REQUIRED

April 10, COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING ASSISTANCE  Led by FEMA. Provides assistance to State and Local First Responders in development of Disaster Emergency Communications Plans  Team includes many other Federal entities – FCC, GSA Regional teams, NCS, other components of DHS, and DOD  Work with State and Local Emergency Managers, first responders, National Guard and anyone else local officials want involved.  Follow on to work done in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama following Katrina  First Targets – PR & VI, Southeast Atlantic and Gulf Coast States.  Feeds into Regional Emergency Communications Coordination Working Groups
