7 National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center - West How Law Enforcement Agencies Find Technologies - Federal Government Resources (Continued) DoD property transfer / procurement programs –1033 - transfer, without charge, excess U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) personal property (supplies and equipment) to State and local law enforcement agencies –1122 - State and Local Law Enforcement Equipment Procurement Program for counterdrug activities. –1401 - identify, evaluate, deploy, and transfer to Federal, State, and local first responders technology items and equipment in support of homeland security. 1401 acts as an “umbrella” over other existing technology and equipment transfer programs and aims to coordinate these efforts.
