1 PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT Empowerment of youth for environment friendly sources as a contribution to a sustainable future PRIMARY SCHOOL NOVE FUŽINE, LJUBLJANA

3 PRIMARY SCHOOL NOVE FUŽINE Our school is located in the biggest settlement in South-East part of Ljubljana. It is a quite small school as there are only 232 pupils visiting it.

5 EYEs was a multilateral project implemented from august 2008 till September Partnership was established among 6 schools from Greece, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia and Turkey.

6 The aim was to empower youth for an active engagement in environmental pollution issues which are a global challenge and an individual responsibility. EYEs was empowerment for pupils/students, teachers and schools management, both professionally and personally.

7 Pupils/students studied: a) pollution sources and options for their replacements with renewable energy resources (solar, wind, water); b) nuclear power c) how to save energy.
