Why is change needed? Only to be freed from past burdens, we can take advantage of the present. I believe, in democracy oriented teaching. Students centered environment, project based approach.

GOALS To develop 21 st century skills. To develop I.T. skills To develop collaberative environment with critical thinking. To develop understanding of becoming good leaders and representatives. To develop the skill of introducing good democracy according to the teaching of Islam in the country.

Objectives By the end of the topic, students will be able to ; Compile their research on different 21 st century skills. Suggest ways of liberty in Islamic democracy by preparing a presentation in the form of play or documentary. Compare and contrast the problems of different countries with or without democracy in a form of report.

Evaluate the value of democracy, and the consqeuences that impel leaders to make a country democratic by a panel discussion. Reflect on the value of deliberation of democracy issues by a film script or story board about a local council elections. (this could be based on a real election, if one has happened recently.)

How can we develop 21 st century skills in students when we teach? In our teaching, we can easily develop 21 st century skills by using 21 st century approaches. FOR e.g ; Observing and Monitoring Giving directions Listening, speaking Questioning Encouraging intervening
