Identify any clusters, gaps, and outliers, and find the range of the data. The greatest amount of precipitation is 50 inches, and the lowest amount of precipitation is 5 inches. Add an X to the line plot to represent the additional data value. Since the greatest rainfall in inches and the least rainfall in inches are unchanged, the range is unchanged.
