3 Administration Goals Aaronic Priesthood quorums that operate under clear priesthood authority, oversight, and direction. Cohesively planned, led, and operated Sunday, mutual, and scout activities that accomplish the purposes of the Aaronic Priesthood. Defined responsibilities Clear and streamlined communication

6 Responsibilities of Bishopric Counselors Oversee quorums Promote spirit of love and unity in the quorum Attend all quorum activities Build quorum leadership by overseeing and instructing quorum presidencies Interview quorum presidents and quorum members Direct and instruct YM presidencies in their responsibilities One counselor oversees YM organization and meets regularly with the presidency Oversee scouting

7 Responsibilities of YM Presidencies(Advisers) and Assistants Minister to individual YM, helping them to grow spiritually by loving serving, and teaching them Strengthen YM in their families Direct efforts of YM organization to accomplish purposes of the Aaronic Priesthood. Ensure it is organized and running properly Give Gospel instruction on Sunday Help Bishopric in their YM responsibilities Teach quorum presidencies their duties Work with Q. leaders to plan and a carry out Mutual Serve as Scout leaders President oversees records, reports, and finances of YM organization

8 General Recommendations Young Men’s presidency (advisers) serve as scout leaders and assistant advisers serve as assistant scout leaders. This avoids the confusion and lack of cohesiveness caused by different adult leaders for each type of activity. Quorum leaders serve as scout leaders. This avoids the confusion and lack of cohesiveness caused by different quorum leaders for each type of activity. Appointed Bishop Counselor responsible for overseeing the YM organization also serves as the scout commissioner. This streamlines communication and ties together the oversight of the quorums, the YM organization, and scouting.
