8 General Recommendations Young Men’s presidency (advisers) serve as scout leaders and assistant advisers serve as assistant scout leaders. This avoids the confusion and lack of cohesiveness caused by different adult leaders for each type of activity. Quorum leaders serve as scout leaders.
