  Introduction paragraph  Introduce your topic, explain why it is important, why you chose it, and remember to include your thesis (what you think about it in terms of solving it/improving it)  Body paragraphs  Summarize the source in two to three sentences, mentioning only relevant information to your topic.  Critique the source, explaining how it supports your argument regarding your topic, (or if it doesn’t, explain how it is wrong).   Step 1  Create a works Cited/Bibliography page (easybib or bibme work well here).  Step 2  Write a concise annotation that summarizes the central theme and scope of the book or article. Include one or more sentences that (a) evaluate the authority or background of the author, (b) comment on the intended audience, (c) compare or contrast this work with another you have cited, and (d) explain how this work illuminates your bibliography topic.
