CTAP 295 FINAL PRESENTATION Gerry Green Chowchilla High School

Introduction I teach all pregnant and teenparent students grades 9-12 in a contained classroom. This is my 39 th year in education, although I took off some years with our small children. My lessons involved the first trimester of pregnancy for my students.

Expectations I didn’t really know what to expect I was hoping to learn a lot more about the Internet I was hoping to design a website I was hoping to learn how to use so much of what I didn’t know was there to learn.

Actual Learning I learned how to make a web page I learned how to cut and paste I learned how to save images from the Internet and bring them up on my page I learned how to link pages to each other

Successes and Shortcomings Students learned how to use the Internet. Students learned how to work on lessons through an Internet program. I could have used more time to use this. Next year it will be different.

Shortcomings More time I need to revise some parts I need to prepare the students more before they work on the lessons.

Successes Students learned to use the Internet Students learned to work from lessons on the Internet. Students became excited about doing Internet work.

Student Data

Looking at my chart, I find that all students improved on the post- tests. One student did not do the second test.

Summary of Revision The data analysis showed that all students had improved by receiving at least 70%. The following revisions were made during CTAP 295: –Lessons –Pre-test, post-tests to meet objective –Objective –Update my website

Suggested Revisions Revision:Suggestion: LessonsAdd second and third trimesters to lessons ObjectiveChange to go with the lessons Update WebsiteChange to include my new classroom location

Conclusion This course has helped me design my own website and use it with my students This course has helped my students learn to use the Internet and my lessons. This course has helped me cut and paste, save images, use links, use Power Point to make slides I am very happy that I enrolled in this class and that I am a better “Internet Person” since doing all the work.
