Presentation transcript:

Review Class The entire period will be used to review gases and thermochemistry (text Chapters 6 and 7). The review will be most useful to students who have previously studied the lecture slides, read the appropriate text chapters, finished the Mastering Chemistry on line assignments, completed Dr. Flinn’s related problem sheets and the recommended text problems. Just attending this review class is not sufficient preparation for the first test.

Review Class If you have a particular topic from the gases or thermochemistry chapters that you would like reviewed please send me an by noon on Sunday I’ll try and address the most “popular” concerns on Monday. The same applies to problems from either the text or Dr. Flinn’s problem sets. me by noon on Sunday and we’ll address the most popular questions on Monday.

Mid Semester Assessment If you are in your first semester, all of your instructors will be required to submit to the Academic Advising Centre an interim grade for your courses. For Chemistry 1050 the interim grade will be based on the first term test mark and interim grades for both your lab work and Mastering Chemistry on line assignments. The course interim grades will be used for advising purposes only and will not be a part of your permanent academic record.
