Notebook paper assignments – Name goes at the top right…this isnt a scavenger hunt Worksheets – If it asks for name, date and period…WRITE IT! No name = no credit! If I cant read it, I cant grade it! Turn in your work into the correct box! Dont rip the page out of a notebook…no spiral mess! Pen or Pencil….PERIOD. No markers, this is high school. If it is 1 assignment and takes more than 1 page…staple it. If it is more than 1 assignment given on the same day, dont staple them. Only staple an assignment together. Grades – no news is good news. BUT…always keep your work. Just in case I missed yours when I was

1.03 Vocab 1.03 C – With group – list energy wasters and energy savers (in the kitchen.) Activity – A Watched Pot Never Boils. With a group – get 2 identical pots. Add the same amount of water to each pot. Be as precise as you can be. Place lid on one pot. Place on the same size eye on the stove. And turn both onto high heat. Set a timer. Determine how long it takes each to come to a rolling boil. INDIVIDUALLY – Write a paragraph explaining the lab and what the lab proved about energy use in the kitchen. Is it easy to waste power? What are some things that you can do in the kitchen that would waste energy? What are some things that you can do to conserve energy?
