5 Recap DAF Work Groups DAF IHE/S&I Joint WG – Completed prioritization of the 11 gaps. – Started assigning tasks based on the need to write change proposals, create a new profile, etc. – White Paper comment period has been extended through July 3 rd White Paper: Comment Form: Direct Transport SWG – Working to create a binding between DAF and Direct Transport based on Common IHE Document Metadata.

6 Document Metadata Pending Work: – SOAP Query Stack Work on Examples and Patient Consent related requirements. – RESTful Query Stack IHE MHD v2 work on-going within IHE Alignment with FHIR resources in progress.

7 Standards Analysis – FHIR Initial Analysis of FHIR Completed. – HL7v2 Introduction to HL7v2 presented last week by Brett Marquard Todays Session will contain Standards Analysis being conducted by Tony Julian of HL7 InM Work Group. – QED/HL7 v3 Introduction to the standard today Analysis in Progress – HQMF v2 Introduction to the standard today Discussion on HQMF applicability – vMR – Will be reaching out to Ken and see how vMR could apply and ask for a presentation – Event Pub/Sub Model ? 9 HQMF Applicability HQMF standard is a document oriented standard, created based on needs of Clinical Quality Measures. – HQMF v2 based on RIM and is very powerful in it ‘s ability to construct queries of various forms and complexities as proven by CQM’s. – Creation of a Query entails creating a Document and then creating various CQM specific data elements in order to use it for DAF’s current queries and query results. – HQMF is only a Query standard and does not support query results, typically QRDA Cat I and III documents are used. – HQMF is not completely machine processable as it is currently if all features of the standard is used. – Discussion: Potentially drop HQMF v2 from consideration for DAF, however it could be used by other initiatives. Communities can use the rest of the DAF Query Stack and use HQMFv2 as the Query standard for applicable use cases.
