Group 3

What is it? The Pub at UTD currently has a limited selection of healthy meal options. Our goal is to increase the number of healthy offerings on the menu and inform students to make healthy lifestyle choices.

What will we explore?  Do we really know what kind of food is provided by The Pub?  How can we improve the current Pub menu and make it healthier?  How can we encourage more people to eat healthier?

How will we encourage people to eat healthier?  We will connect with the Activity Center because people there tend to be more health conscious  Send monthly newsletters about eating healthier  In the newsletter include coupons to encourage more people to eat healthy  Bring a professional to speak once a month at the pub, who can help guide students to a healthy lifestyle

How will we collect our information?  By having people complete our survey, in person and online  Looking though The Pub’s menu to see how the food can be harmful and/or beneficial to health  Researching how we can provide healthier food at an affordable price
