What is a Technical Council Established by the Board for the purpose of providing a continuing mechanism for two or more IEEE societies (member societies) to work together in a multi-disciplinary technical area of mutual interest primarily through conferences and publications. What is a Technical Committee Designed to facilitate the performance of duties assigned. Tech Committee structure allows faster response to new technologies. Tech Committees are focused on emerging or not addressed technologies; not obviously covered by existing Societies or Technical Councils. 13-Oct-153
