It is called “zero gravity” and makes humans feel weightless. X The closer a planet is to the sun, the more solar radiation it will receive. Remember too much radiation can kill humans. Weight is the measure of the pull of gravity on mass and Mass is the amount of matter in an object. Without gravity, you have no weight. Water, clean air, temperature control, and a way to dispose of waste are all needed to live in space. Since there is little gravity in space, weight can be lost. Also muscles lose mass because they are not used and you must be restrained so you will not fly off in space. X X X
