What happens next?

Once you click send…. Your Personal Tutor writes your reference A member of the Senior Leadership Team checks your reference then your sends your form to UCAS. This can take up to 4 weeks in total. You can see where things are up to by logging into ‘apply’

After college has sent your form… You will receive information from UCAS about how to log into TRACK which is where you monitor progress – interviews – open days – offers. You will also receive information directly from your universities by post, e- mail or text You don’t need to make any decisions about what to accept until early May 2014 at the earliest.

Accommodation If moving away from home, you would usually choose your preferences for accommodation after deciding on your first and second choice in May But get an idea of what is available through websites and visiting if you can on open days. Universities may offer a variety of university owned or private accommodation and the costs and deposits and systems for paying will vary. CHECK IT OUT IN DETAIL. ( websites/visits)

Absences for Open Days/ Interviews Authorise your absence before you go… Check it is ok to miss your lessons with your subject tutor first Then fill in the day/ lessons you will miss in the Open Day/ Interview folder at the careers help desk.
