THE DRAFT MULTI-YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN Toronto Catholic District School Board 1

What is a MYSP? It reflects the vision for the board including its overall purpose ( mission statement), beliefs, strategic directions, and it establishes goals for a minimum of three years.

How was the MYSP developed? April 7 launch – broad areas of focus determined April – Environmental Scan -consultations with: Director’s Council, Education Council, Union and Association Representatives, the Catholic Parent Involvement Committee, Catholic School Advisory Council Chairs Student voice - Student Trustee and Catholic Student Leadership Impact Team April 15, 16 Weekend Retreat

Cont’d Late April & May – meetings of working teams of trustees and staff May 18 – facilitated collaborative session of trustees and staff to refine mission, vision, strategic directions and goals June – Draft MYSP received by board of trustees June 29 - Draft shared with Principals for input August – revised draft posted September - further input sought from the system

Next Steps Collaborative session with trustees and seniors staff on October 22 Revised Draft reflecting input posted and ed to system for further feedback Final Draft to be brought to board November 24 th for approval Comprehensive communications Strategy Ensure operational plans are aligned with the MYSP
