Cultivation of prospective board members is critical to ensure the long-term success of any board and organization  A broad, systematic approach to board development, including orientation, training, and evaluation is needed 9

Feasibility Studies Mission Advancement Services Feasibility Studies  A Feasibility Study allows an organization to determine its fundraising potential relative to its objectives, needs, and capabilities  A Feasibility Study is often a requirement in order to receive approval for large scale capital expenses  Confidential interviews of identified parish leaders need to be conducted in order to establish: The willingness of the organization’s constituency towards the cause The most well-rounded case for support A well thought out campaign strategy 10

Capital Campaigns Mission Advancement Services Capital Campaigns  Capital Campaigns are fundraising efforts for major capital purposes; most of these initiatives look to raise at least 1x the annual parish offertory amount  A detailed and tailored plan of action to raise a targeted amount of money in a specific time frame needs to be created and agreed upon by key constituents 11
